Scott Martens lives in Chaska, MN with his wife Jennifer and their golden
retrievers. They have two adult children, Allie and Abby. They enjoy hiking,
biking and the great outdoors of Minnesota.

Scott earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from Iowa State University
as part of the Navy ROTC Program. He Earned a MS in Management from the
Naval Post Graduate School. Scott is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified
Professional Logistician, and has earned his Series 7 Broker’s License.

Upon receiving his commission in the Navy, Scott served as a Naval Aviator and
flight officer flying the S-3B Viking extensively off the carriers USS Enterprise
and USS Nimitz. Since 1997, Scott and his family have resided in Minnesota.
He has served in leadership positions for several large organizations including:
General Electric, American Express, UnitedHealth and Hennepin County.
Scott’s areas of expertise include: strategy, operations, supply chain, change
management, and organizational transformation. Additionally, Scott has served as a senior leader
for both University Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and University of St Thomas
Opus College of Business. As an adjunct faculty, Scott has taught over 4,000 students in 100
plus undergraduate, MBA and Masters level classes over the past 20 years.
